Who we are
Potent is a UK-registered B2B marketing agency operating at potentpositioning.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What we collect
We collect: (1) information you submit through forms (name, email, company, message), (2) automatically collected analytics data (pages visited, device, approximate location), and (3) cookie-based session data. We do not buy or sell personal data.
Why we collect it
We process personal data to (a) respond to enquiries you've initiated, (b) provide and improve our services, (c) measure website performance, and (d) comply with legal obligations. Our lawful bases are legitimate interest and, where required, consent.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data: 24 months from last contact. Analytics data: 14 months. Marketing data: until you withdraw consent. We delete or anonymise data on request unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact hello@potentpositioning.com to exercise any right. You can also complain to the ICO.
Sharing
We use a small number of third-party processors to operate the site and our business: Google Analytics (website analytics), Leadfeeder (identifies which companies visit the site from their network address; it does not identify individuals), Google Workspace (email and document collaboration), Cal.com (call scheduling) and HubSpot (CRM and marketing automation). Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement aligned with UK GDPR. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.
